Pretty boring day today. I copied some music and pictures from Deering's computer today, and I also sewed on my unit patches that should have been done about 2 months ago. Oh, well. The government should have had them sewn on before we left Ft. Benning. It took me about an hour to sew on 4 patches, and I only stuck myself about 10 times. No blood was drawn though, so that is a good thing. That is all I've done so far today, and it is already 1:30pm. We'll see if anything more happens. Have a great weekend with all the snow!

Yo Meredith,
We got a great snow fall yesterday - I got the driveway all cleaned off (thank heaven's for a great big snowblower) and then the sun came out and melted off the little bits left. There's lots in the yard though - if you'd like, I could send you some!! LOL!
We signed the papers yesterday to get the house sale started - so now it's really crunch time. I've got to get the place in perfect shape so they can do pictures of it all for the website and handouts. Then it all starts with an open house for the realtors on April 4th. Oh goody - then we get to live in a fish bowl, that means making the bed complete with a bedspread every day and fancy unused towels and on and on. Yikes!! What a pain - but necessary - I'll just be glad when it's over and we're out of here and I can focus on getting the house in Wisconsin built.
So Cassie picked on you a lot over time!! Well somewhere in China there is a little Chinese man walking around with a picture of him with his arm around Cassie - he probably tells everyone that she was his "American" girlfriend!! As I recall though the look on Cassie's face in that picture was one of "what the heck is going on?" Sure was funny though. Remember that lovely day at Hy-Vee Cass!!
Those patches are a pain to sew on - it's amazing you only stabbed yourself 10 times - I put patches on some jeans (just 2) and I think I beat you with stabs.
Enjoy the day - it's nice and sunny but chilly here. Hugs, Gracie

I told Cassie that she'd likely the hot babe in wallets of little Chinese men!! Hop Sing and the American beauty!! It was funny - the guy had his wife take the picture of him with his arm around a very confused "but smiling!" Cassie.

Hey Mere-
You sewing on badges reminds me of the time when you and me had to sew our badges onto our GS sash. I remember it took us all afternoon to sew them on. We probably had so many since we were so good in GS!
Kelsey is over here right now and Mom, me and rae are making silly putty. Then we might watch "The Incredibles" later since none of us has seen it (other than Rachel). Should be fun, i've heard from many ppl that it is a funny movie. Well better go. Love you!
