A Little Time to Relax

It is so nice today because we have a day off from training. I went to church today over on the Basic Training side of the post. I saw a few drill sergeants too. I think I could have gone my whole life without ever having to see them again. The service was nice, and when we got back to the tents our platoon sergeant told us that we would have the rest of the day off! How nice is that?!? Sazama, Deering, Yurick, Dhein, and I went to the PX for some fun. I bought some crystal Light to add to my CamelPak to add some better flavor to the bad water here. (We try to be innovative here!) It's been quite a while since I've gotten to post a new message. I haven't been able to get to a computer to add any new messages. I sent my family a couple of pictures of what I have been doing down here in Ft. Benning, GA. When I get another chance to come to the library I will attach some more pictures to this site. I have bouts of homesickness every once in a while when I have a chance to think. I don't really like to think down here. It usually ends up getting you into trouble. It isn't all bad here. I have been learning a lot about what I am going to be doing overseas and the type of circumstances I might run into. I best be going...we are going to Pizza Hut now. (See it really isn't that bad.)
